This article tells you how to add an e-mail account in BlueMail. You can download the program for Windows, Mac and Linux from their main page: https://bluemail.me/download/. After installing it, you can open the program by clicking on the BlueMail icon .
For illustration purposes, we use the domain cloud86example.com always replace it with your own domain in question. The domain is whatever is behind the @ sign in the mail address (@cloud86example.com) or entered in the url bar in the browser (after https://www. or https://).
Connecting IMAP to BlueMail
- Open Blue Mail, if it's your first time, you can add a new account right away by clicking Continue. Want to add an additional account in BlueMail? Then in BlueMail click the cog icon in the lower left corner, Manage Accounts tab and the Add new button, then follow the rest of the guide.
- Enter your e-mail address and click Manual Setup, then Manual Setup again and then IMAP.
- Enter the requested IMAP settings for the incoming server.
- Email address: info@cloud86example.com (replace with your desired email)
- Username: (same as e-mail address)
- Password: (known to you, or see Change email password)
- IMAP Server: your domain name (or Plesk server name for external websites).
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Security type: PLAIN
- Port: 993
- Click Next
- Enter the requested SMTP settings for the outgoing server.
- Email address: info@cloud86example.com (replace with your desired email)
- Username: (same as e-mail address)
- Password: (known to you, or see Change email password)
- SMTP Server: your domain name (or Plesk server name for external websites).
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Security type: PLAIN
- Port: 465
- Login Required: tick checkbox
- Click Next.
- Enter your name, mailbox description and color. And add another mailbox if necessary. Then click Next.
