Affiliate program rewards/commision

What are the affiliate rewards?

As an affiliate partner, you get the chance to earn commissions by promoting our web hosting services. We believe in a good partnership and want to be transparent about our commission policy. For all our web hosting services, we are happy to pay out commissions for every successful sale. This includes various hosting packages that allow your visitors to effortlessly enhance their online presence.

However, domain names and Microsoft 365 services are excluded from payment within the affiliate program. This is because the margins on these services are too low to pay out commissions.

 

Affiliate tiers

Cloud86 offers an attractive commission to referral and affiliate partners. For every transaction generated through your unique affiliate link, you will receive a standard commission of €35, regardless of the size of the order.

When you generate five or more transactions per month as an affiliate partner, you will be upgraded to another commission tier. In this tier, you earn 60% commission on the total initial value of the orders generated, up to a maximum of €500,- per order.

  • Example 1: Suppose you have 3 orders in a month with a total value of €500, your commision will be 3 x €35 or €105,.
  • Example 2 Suppose you have more than 4 orders  in a month with a total value of €500, your commission will be €300.

So Cloud86's affiliate program offers different commissions depending on the number of transactions generated.

 

Commision Payout

The commission approved after 45 days is paid monthly by bank. We ask you to enter your bank account and payment information in your affiliate account so that we can make the payment. Please make sure that the required details are entered correctly, because we cannot make payment without this information.

For payments, we apply a minimum amount of €100. Once your total commission reaches this amount, payment will be made at the beginning of the month. We appreciate your participation in the Cloud86 affiliate program and always strive to transfer your commission to your bank account in a timely manner.

 

Non-registered commision

Sometimes it happens that a transaction is not properly registered. In that case, we ask you to send us a message (support@cloud86.io). We can then validate the transaction for you using some data and manually assign it to your affiliate account afterwards.

We ask you to notify us within 4 weeks after the order. Once this deadline has passed, we can no longer manually assign commission and the right to the payout expires.

Which products does Cloud86 pay commission for?

As an affiliate partner, you get the chance to earn commissions by promoting our web hosting services. These include the following hosting packages:

  • Web Hosting
  • Managed WordPress Hosting
  • Managed WooCommerce Hosting
  • Email Hosting

We do not provide commision for:

  • Domainnames
  • Microsoft 365 services

This is because the margins on these products are too low for commission.

Where can I view a sale/commission I made?

You can view the commision in your personal affiliate account. You can access the affiliate dashboard from My Cloud86 by logging in via My Cloud86 and click in the left menu on Affiliates and login.

After which you can see the commissions in the Commissions tabs or use the Reports tab to get an overview of the sales and commissions gained.

What if my commission does not appear in my affiliate account?

There are times when your commission may not appear in your affiliate account. This may happen due to a number of different reasons. Perhaps there is an IP block as a result of a previous transaction, or a cookie blocker was used. It is also possible that the actual order was placed from a different device, which could result in an incorrect recording of the transaction.

If your referral has not been tracked, please do not hesitate to contact us. We're happy to investigate and, if necessary, manually add the commission to your account. We will ask for some information to validate the transaction such as the order purchase date, domain name, customer name, and email account. Please inform us within 4 weeks from the order date. If this period has expired, the right to get credited for the sale will lapse.

Correct compensation for customer referrals is of great importance to us, and we do everything we can to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Why is the affiliate sale marked as 'Pending'?

After an affiliate transaction is measured, the transaction is always set to 'Pending' in your affiliate account for 45 days. The reason we do this is because customers can still cancel their order in the meantime. Because we have an extra time of 45 days, we are sure to provide compensation for customers who stay with us and thereby prevent any fraud.

After 45 days, the transaction is automatically set to 'Approved'. We will transfer the payment at the beginning of the (new) month. The minimum amount we pay out is €100 but you can also increase this amount if preferred.
