In this guide, we’ll show you how to log in to WordPress and set up the basics of your website using AI. After the initial setup, you can get started yourself, edit texts, choose your own images, and give each page the style you want.
If you need help with the installation, our team is ready to assist you. The content and design of your website are entirely up to you, so you can adapt everything to your own preferences.
Login on Plesk Control Panel
- In My Cloud86 (link), click in the left menu on My Services.
- Click the 3 dots behind the web hosting package you want to see in Plesk and click View Details.
- Under the heading Manage Webhosting (middle of the page), click on Websites & Domains.
- You will now be automatically logged into the Plesk Control Panel.

Starting with the AI Website builder
If you have bought the AI Website Builder hosting from our website, you can immidiately start from this point.
If you already have a webhosting plan with us, you can prepare a new clean WordPress installation with the AI Website Builder using this guide AI Website Builder: Installation.
- In Plesk, click on the Log in button under the website preview to get automatically logged into the WordPress Dashboard.
- When logging in for the first time, you’ll be asked to provide your website title and describe what your website is about. If you’ve already set up your website before, you can reset it after logging in by going to Site Assistant and then under Quick Links select Reset site, this will remove all current content and let's you restart the whole process.
- The AI Website Builder is now preparing the foundation of your website. If the AI Website Builder needs any additional information from you, it will ask for it.
- Answer any extra questions and press the Show more questions, to have even finer control over the site content.
- When you have entered the extra choices, the AI will start generating different themes.
- Pick the design you like the most. If none of them are to your liking, you can go back in the process and change the prompt to generate new designs.
- If you clicked on Multiple pages, you will now get the option to select what pages you want to have and even preview those pages. Select the pages you want to have and press Next. If you only selected one page, it will start generating your website and download the required plugins.
- When the site is finished you move to the main page of the website.
- Click on the pencil icon in the top menu to change the current page layout or text.
- Or ask the AI to make changes, such as: update the theme to, change the text or change the title of the site.
- If you have ran the setup before, you are automatically logged in to the WordPress dashboard instead, here you can finish the setup, by going to the Site Assistant in the left menu and providing site branding, such as logos, setup a webshop using the WooCommerce (eCommerce) plugin and creating a contact form.
- Now that you have a basic starting layout, it’s time to customize your website. Click the house icon at the top left (next to your website name) to return to the homepage. From there, select the pencil icon (Edit Page) to make changes to the page you’re viewing. Below, we’ve included some examples to help you adjust the website to your preferences.
- In order to make the login to your WordPress Website easier, you can create a new user on the left under Users and login directly through the browser, the url is <domainname>/wp-admin. For example with our test domain cloud86example.com, you will then get the link: https://cloud86example.com/wp-admin. For more information see WordPress: Login and Dashboard.
Changing Text
By clicking on any text you can manually change the text, or ask AI to update or creating a new text. If the AI options are not showing up, you can click on the icon (
) in the right top. If that button is not there, you can't use the AI functionality in this view.
Changing Images
By clicking on any image you can manually upload a new image, or ask AI to create a new image. If the AI options are not showing up, you can click on the icon in the right top. If that button is not there, you can't use the AI functionality in this view.
Troubleshooting / Custom Changes
Note: AI Website Builder helps you kick-start your WordPress website, but our role as a web host is focused on web hosting services such as providing web space, email, domain registrations, and everything related to that. We are not website builders or developers and therefore do not offer support for building or designing the content of a website. For the website you can use the built in AI helpdesk or search for WordPress content creators.
