Connect to SSH

Here you can find instructions to connect to SSH via your Managed VPS.

1. Retrieving IP address

The server IP address is shown in the Plesk subscription view.

2. Credentials and enabling SSH

The Plesk subscription system user credentials are used to connect via SSH. Go to Hosting & DNS and than Hosting.

Here you can set the password and optionally change the username. Make sure SSH access to set to /bin/bash (chrooted).

3. Connecting

To connect you can use a program such as PuTTY of a terminal.

Enter the username and password (you configured in the previous step).

You are now successfully connected via SSH!
