In most cases, it is possible to upgrade your web hosting plan with us, for example when your webshop starts handling an increasing number of customers. Upgrading a Start or Medium package can be done by yourself using the guide below. If you would like to upgrade from a Web Hosting plan to a Managed plan, please contact our support department. At the bottom of this article you can find information on how to get in touch with us.
To downgrade a web hosting package, you need to contact our support department. Note: downgrades cannot be scheduled in advance. A downgrade will therefore be carried out shortly after the request, and if this happens after the first month of the subscription term, no refund will be issued. We therefore recommend submitting a downgrade request one month before the end of the current term. You can view your current term via My Cloud86 and then My Services.
Login on My Cloud86 Dashboard
Use the following steps to log in to Cloud86:
- Go to the url: my.cloud86.io
- Enter the email address you used when registering.
- When you placed the order, you provided a password for your account. Forgot which password you used? Then have a new one sent to you via the forgotten password link.
Web hosting plan upgrade
- In My Cloud86, click in the left menu on My Services
- Then click the 3 dots behind the web hosting package you want to upgrade and click View Details.
- In the Quick menu, click on Upgrade. Don't have this option? Then you are probably already on a Power Plan and will need to contact the supportdesk to see which upgrade is right for you.
- Choose the new web hosting package and select a contract period of your choice. At the time you upgrade your web hosting package, the price will be based on the difference between the new package and the old package for the remaining contract period (to see the final price press Choose Product).
Note: It is only possible to upgrade to medium and power within the same package. If you want to upgrade from a Web Hosting Package to a Managed Package, you will have to contact the support desk. Also for downgrading you need to contact the support desk.
